IPL Photofacials are designed to treat a wide variety of skin conditions. At J.E.S we address redness, spider veins and pigmented brown spots using the treatment method. Our skincare experts will customize your IPL Photofacial to your skin type.
The treatment can reduce redness, multiple signs of sun damage, rosacea, brown and red freckles and pigment or complexion imperfections. IPL Photofacials work by delivering pulses of intense light energy to the skin, which targets unwanted pigment and stimulates collagen production. This can result in a more even skin tone, improved texture, and a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
IPL targets hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells. This can be helpful for reducing redness caused by conditions like rosacea, small blood vessels (telangiectasia).
While some sun damage may reappear over time, the results of IPL Photofacials can last for several months.
IPL targets melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. By breaking down uneven melanin deposits, IPL can even out skin tone and improve skin appearance.

Lumecca is a breakthrough intense pulsed light (IPL) that delivers up to 3X more energy in the 500-600 nm range to improve efficacy for vascular and pigmented lesions. This treatment depends on the size and number of areas treated but usually takes about an hour and can be included in your customized treatment. Following your treatment, brown spots will immediately darken and skin may appear slightly red. Redness will dissipate within a few hours and within 1-3 weeks the darkened spots will flake off and fade, redness or veins will decrease and skin tone will become much more even.
IPL can be done on the face, arms, legs, shoulders, chest, neck and hands.
