James M. Cimo, MD has been practicing Medicine since 1999. He graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1989, then pursued a Master’s degree in Biochemistry at SUNY Upstate University at Syracuse. He then embarked in his lifelong dream of becoming a Physician and graduated at the top of his class in 1996 from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in 1999 becoming Board Certified that same year. He worked in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Slocum Dickson Medical Group for 8 years before transitioning to Emergency Medicine in 2009 and has spent 11 years in the Emergency Room working at St. Luke’s, Oneida Healthcare, Massena Memorial, Rome Hospital and Lewis County General Hospitals.
He is known for his humble and compassionate bedside manner, his caring and empathic attitude and for always considering everyone around him an integral part of the team.
Dr Cimo operates MLS Health, Inc. and serves as the Medical Director of Jessica Elizabeth Skincare. Together, Dr. Cimo and MLS Health operate all clinical services performed at Jessica Elizabeth Skincare, overseeing all medical treatments and creating safe and effective protocols.
In the “Docs” free time he is a devoted father to 3 children and is a competitive power lifter. He takes great pride in having a selfless attitude in every aspect of his life.
